A Farewell and a new beginning

Dear guests and friends

We thank you all very much for the wonderful time and the loyalty over the many years! It was a great pleasure for us to spoil you. The encounters are in our hearts. Since we cannot introduce the new hosts personally as planned, we will do it this way.

Bettina Fallegger from Lucerne and Gianfranco Giovanoli from Grisons are very much looking forward to their future task as hosts at the Hotel Restaurant La Tgoma. The two are fresh from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Lucerne, where they also met.

Bettina Fallegger grew up in Beromünster and originally completed her training at the reception desk in Maloja. During her apprenticeship years she worked in various hotels and restaurants in Switzerland and France.

Gianfranco Giovanoli grew up in Grüsch and completed his apprenticeship as a chef in Fideris. Before going to hotel management school, he got to know various kitchens in Switzerland.

Now a new chapter is about to begin for the two of them and we sincerely wish them all the best and lots of fun. We would like to say goodbye to them, because we are sure that we will see one or the other again. Who knows, maybe also in the Tgoma! We will certainly be there from time to time.

All the best and stay healthy.

Best regards

Lisbeth, Denise and Stefanie Maissen

Change of ownership at Hotel Garni Cualmet

The Hotel Garni Cualmet in Lantsch/Lenz, which was leased by the Biathlon Arena Lenzerheide AG in 2016, will pass into new hands on May 1, 2021. The hosts of the Hotel Restaurant La Tgoma in Lantsch/Lenz will take over the homely house in the village center. For the owners, Corinna and Robert Simeon, an era is coming to an end. For nine years Corinna was the hostess and good soul of the house.

Corinna and Robert Simeon have sold the Hotel Garni Cualmet to Luzi Bergamin as of October 1, 2020. The new owner will manage the hotel himself in the future and has terminated the lease agreement with Biathlon Arena Lenzerheide AG as of May 1, 2021. Four years ago, the hotel was leased by the Biathlon Arena Lenzerheide AG and it was the ideal complement to the hostel offer in the Nordic House.

The Hotel Garni Cualmet, which was managed by Corinna Simeon over all these years with great attention to detail, great commitment and with a lot of heart and soul, will in future be managed by Bettina Fallegger and Gianfranco Giovanoli. They can be quoted as follows: “With the new beds from the Cualmet, the Hotel La Tgoma can significantly increase the bed capacity and with the beautiful wellness area our guests get a great added value for a relaxing stay in Lantsch/Lenz.”

Host with heart Silvio Baselgia, Managing Director Competition/Performance at Roland Arena: “With the takeover of the Hotel Garni Cualmet and the simultaneous opening of the Nordic House in 2016, great synergies were achieved in the area of human resources as well as the overall offer of the Biathlon Arena Lenzerheide AG. After four years of successful development work, we very much regret that we have to hand over the charming hotel in the village center of Lantsch/Lenz. I would like to thank Corinna Simeon for her tireless efforts and wish the new hosts much joy with the hotel.” Despite the change of ownership, however, the close cooperation between the Roland Arena, the Hotel Garni Cualmet and the Hotel Restaurant La Tgoma is to continue.

For Corinna Simeon, the farewell after so many years is associated with many beautiful emotions: “In the Hotel Cualmet is my whole heart and soul and I will miss the work and especially the people. I am very grateful for this wonderful time, for the many encounters and for the inspiring conversations with the esteemed hotel guests.” Corinna Simeon was not only the host and owner of the Hotel Cualmet, but also managed the Bistro Bualino in the Roland Arena for two and a half years. Together with her team, she spoiled the guests from morning to night and was always at their service with her cordial manner.

She is looking forward to the new phase of her life with confidence: “It is still open where exactly the path will lead and I am currently examining various options. I sincerely wish the new Cualmet owners all the best and much success, as well as the entire Roland Arena team.”
